Iron Man is the first movie completely financed by Marvel and based on one of the most popular comic from the ’60s. The main character, Anthony Edward “Tony” Stark, is a industrial millionaire, who builds weapons for the US government. Captured by terrorists in Afghanistan, he’s forced to develop a missile, but uses the resources to build himself a suit, with which to escape.
