Kindle 2 to be released ?

Amazon will be holding a press conference on February 9 and we think we will see the release of Kindle 2 pretty soon as history will most likely repeat itself. Case in point: on Amazon the Kindle can’t be bought at the moment, as it is sold out and won’t be shipping too soon. The second point of interrest is that Amazon used a press conference to announce the first Kindle. Are these clues good enough ?

If you don’t know what the Kindle is, it is a device for reading ebooks and buy them wireless. Not only books but also magazines or newspapers. You can even read free chapters of the books you’re interested in to see if they’re worth buying. The new version is said to be longer, flatter and fix some of the original problems the first version encountered. It will most likely be recharged by USB cable as opposed to the separate charger.
