I bet you never heard about a company called Inkel. But in the future we may see more of them, especially since they have prepared a navigation device with touchscreen capability, the W500. The screen is wide enough and we think it’s ideal for GPS navigation and the 3D mapping takes full advantage of this aspect. The W500 also has Eco-Drive, if you want to know the best route with low gpm and a Dual Map function.
A cool thing is that if you get bored while driving you cn use the incorporated TV tuner and watch TV while driving, although I don’t know how safe that is, but it’s good to know that you can navigate and watch TV while you’re at it.
But here’s the catch: Inkel is a Korean company and there’s no information regarding the release in the US or Europe. Two versions are available: a 2GB one for $132 and a 4GB for $158.
