Yamaha YSP-3000: 23 spearks in one boxset

When you don’t have room, in your apartment, for a 5.1 box set, but you’re a big surround sound movie passionate, Yamaha offers an elegant solution through the YSP acoustic facilities series. A single such facility, simulates the presence, in the room, of a whole 5.1 box set and that thanks to the high number of speakers inside of it and as a result of the sound redirectioning technologies.

The latest addition to the YSP series, is the YSP-3000 model, which can connect to top notch players and High Definition (HD) TV sets, thanks to its HDMI connectors. In the 31,5x6x4.5 inch (80x15x11 cm) compound, there can be found two woofers (bass speakers) with a 8 cm diameter and 21 speakers for mid/high frequency levels, each 3 cm. The total power of the YSP-3000 system is 82 W, it has a FM tuner integrated into the system, DTS and Dolby Digital Pro Logic II compatibility, Yamaha owned technologies for musical audition optimization of MP3/WMA compressed files and many other.

With the help of a docking station bought separately (YDS-10) the iPod owners can couple the player to this “Digital Sound Projector.” YSP-3000 can be ordered online from the Yamaha website, and comes in black or silver, at the price of 1.200 USD.

    Hi,grindkin.Not a problem as long as you don’t wind the volume control to max.Actually it is better to have more power in reserve to handel the instantaneous peaks of the music. Most modern speakers can handel more than their rated continuous output for a short time. 75 watts at full volume is extremely loud.Most of the time you are listening well below this level.It means you will hear your favorite music without distorsion.I hope this helps.
