The New Leika S2 could have you bankrupt!

This behemoth of the DSLR world looks like a tank, wheighs as a tank and probably costs as a tank too – a whooping $26,000! And the body only, folks. To get a sapphire-glass LCD screen and some gussied-up “Platinum Service”, you’ll have to drop another $5,100.

Kinda stiff for a DSLR, right? Well, some would argue, seeing how the specs on this beauty are totally off charts. The Leica S2 DSLR comes in at 37.5 million pixels sit atop a huge 30×45mm sensor, a whopping 56% bigger than a full-frame sensor or rectangle of 35mm film. You could shoot a pic of me sipping a mojito from 5 miles away and still come up in full detail. Still extramely EXPENSIVE! I seem to always need to stress this out. I mean, for crying out laud, only the charger comes with a $420 price tag. What gives?
