Apple stops the 20″ Cinema Display

The beginning of 2003 was the time when Apple released it’s 20” Cinema Display and six full years have passed since then. The display successfully filled the gap between the Apple 17” LCD and the 23” Cinema HD. But because of the appearance of the new 24” panel a couple of months back, the Cinema Display was forced to a halt to make room for it’s bigger brother.

The new model is the ideal choice for users of the MacBook thanks to the Mini DisplayPort. The downside is that because of this, an adapter is needed in order to use it with graphic cards which are a few months old. But we could see the Mini DisplayPort being used in the future by the entire line of LCD’s from Apple.
