Net TV will be the future ?

Since the Internet boom, more and more people are watching tv online rather than using the television. Philips seems to have noticed the trend and decided to invest in this emerging market by developing the Net TV application. This will allow the users to access many sites directly from the television, like eBay, YouTube and Netlog, just to name a few. And all the sites can be accessed by remote control.

Two television series will support such feature: the 8000 and 9000. If you will buy the 8000, you will need a wired Internet connection. The 9000 will access the websites wirelessly.
Net TV is said to appear in April and it will surely be the start of a new development for websites and a new market will be open.
