Toshiba plans 3D TV glasses-free by Christmas
Toshiba is planning to launch glasses-free 3D TV by the end of 2010. Although they already launched 3D television earlier this year, complaints about the irritation of the glasses were received from the customers, which were not in many numbers also. This convinced the engineers working for Japan’s largest electronics producer, Toshiba, to develop the glasses-free 3D TV. Three models are supposed to be launched, each coming at a price of a few thousands dollars.
Despite the rumors, a Toshiba spokesperson said that they are not in ” a position to make any announcement”, but he didn’t deny any of these rumors also. So we can expect to watch a 3D movies on our own TV without any special glasses, from the comfort of our couch and this in the near future.
