Post filled in: Memory

You can’t have too much RAM, on servers at least. That’s why Samsung has released what seems to be the smallest high-density memory module and at the same time, the first in the world, carrying 16GB DDR3. Of course, these are targeted towards servers, but there is also a 8GB DDR3 RDIMM version available. Now, they haven’t forgotten about us, because a 4GB DDR3 stick will be available for consumers. According to Samsung, the 16GB DDR3 stick will be cost and performance effective. No prices are known for any of the new DDR3 modules, but it is said that they will be available soon.
