Speed freaks will be glad to know that Super Talent has released it’s latest UltraDrive SSDs. There are two families of drives with a total of seven SSDs: the ME family with four members and the LE with three. With reading speeds of up to 230MB/sec, writing speeds of up to 170MB/sec, these SSDs deserve their name.
The Super Talent UltraDrive ME SSDs have a size ranging between 32GB and 256GB, intermediary capacities being 64GB and 128GB. These are the more affordable ones, being priced between $128 for the 32GB version, $645 for the 256GB version and $205 for the 64GB, $379 for the 128GB. Being affordable doesn’t mean they’re slow, with reading speeds of 200MB/sec and writing speeds of 160MB/sec.
The UltraDrive LE is the fastest, with the 230MB/sec and 170MB/sec figures. You can get them in three sizes: the 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. Unfortunately, their price is unknown at the moment.
