A nifty USB padlock from Thanko

The Chinese gizmo manufacturer, Thanko, just got something out, that’s certain to put a nifty smile up your face. From the pic above, you’ll most certainly understand what I’m talking about. Oh, no? Well, I’m talking about the new Thanko Code-Padlock USB protector of course. I know what you’re thinking. This little contraption right here must be using the latest in Chinese high tech, 64 bit encryptions to safe guard my precious date in my USB stick. Apparently, not quite. The Thanko Code-Padlock is so simply design, it will make your head hurt.

Basically, the only thing it does is it puts a thumb-drive over your USB and protects it with a three digit code. That wouldn’t stop the alleged thief from stealing the whole thing though, but it will certainly prevent him from opening all your secret pr0n files.
