YouTube increases upload video length to 15 minutes from 10 minutes
YouTube’s latest upgrade implemented a new kind of technology into its system, the namely the new new YouTube ContentID, VideoID and AudioID systems that automatically filter and deletes duplicate content. As you can imagine, terabytes and terabytes of free space was now freed, so to make good use of this, the Google owned company decided to extend the video length limit of uploaded clips from 10 minutes to a whooping 15 minutes. Yeah, you’ve heard right, 5 extra minutes, which in the video sharing world can make a whole lot of difference.
The upgrade applies to non-partners and the YouTube team promises the video quality won’t be reduced.
