The whole industry surrounding iPhones is reaching for the sky, and more and more people are “coming to the dark side” everyday. I’m not saying this is good or bad, it’s just how things are.If you own such a booger, you’ve probably heard what it does to your average unprotected desktop speaker as well as to most iPod docks; yes, you know what the sound is. What happens is that it emitts audible blasts of interference from up to three or four feet away.

You can power ‘em off of AAA batteries or an AC adapter and you can use a lot of other audio sources, because they plug into the iPhone’s headphone jack. Also, the speakers detach from the rotating base and they’re out now at just $50.
