A Toshiba tablet PC will appear in stores shelves during September-October 2010 and globally available by the end of the year. With Android as operating system the tablet PC will be equipped with Nvidia’s latest announcement the Tegra 2 processor and a 10-inch screen. The guys from Toshiba gave no details regarding price or specs of the tablet so we can only guess and wait for it to make it’s appearance on the market, but we do not expect high purchase price.
The Taiwanese are considering that 40,000-50,000 is the number of units to be shipped globally by the end of December. About the same time with Toshiba , HP will probably launch an Android based tablet PC, while Acer’s tablet PC featuring a Qualcomm CPU and Android , Lenovo’s first named LePad and the Eee Pad from Asustek are to be launched at the end of the year or early in 2011.
