Amazon.com has put the new Dell Latitude XT2 Tablet PC on sale for $2,459. The Latitude XT2 features a 12.1 WXGA touchscreen capable of a resolution of 1,280 x 800. It uses an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.40Ghz CPU and has 2GB of DDR3 memory. It also features a WiFi and Bluetooth connextion along with an ExpressCard slot. The 120GB 5,400RPM hard disk makes sure that storage is not an issue. An EM stylus is also shipped, ideal for projects that need precision.
Amazon also included a DVD burner E-module so that backups can be easily made via CD or DVD. This is also the reason why the price is a bit higher than the $2,399 originally announced.
Regarding performance, there are good signals, the Latitude XT2 being praised, especially for the touchscreen.
The Latitude XT2 can be shipped within 6-10 business days, according to Amazon.com
