Not that this is a big surprise, with very few things still being manufactured in the US, but for the americans being so close to the iPAQ 610 is definetly a big annoying. According to reliable sources, after several delays, HP has decided to cancel the release of its upcoming Windows Mobile smartphone, the 610 (also known as the iPAQ 614, 614c and 600). They didn’t give much information about why they were doing this, but they did say that “due to recent legal issues between suppliers of mobile phone technologies, HP has decided not to offer the iPAQ 610 Business Navigator to U.S. customers as previously planned.”. This leaves places for interpretation, and it’s still unsure whether the mobile will be missing from the stores worldwide, but it definetly won’t be making its appearance anytime soon.
