The Dell Mini 10 has finally been launched today in the US. The latest member of the Inspiron family is also a compact, reliable companion like it’s older brothers and boosts a more comfortable keyboard and sleek design.
The Mini 10 features a 10.1” WSVGA widescreen display, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, WiFi, HDMI output, webcam, a Windows XP installation and weights only 2.86 lbs. The color palette is varied: Alpine White, Obsidian Black, Promise Pink, Cherry Red, Jade Green and Ice Blue. Also, Dell offers online file storage from 2GB which are free and up to 100GB so that the users can easily manage their files.
It can be bought on dell.com for $399 and beginning with Feb. 26 other countries will be able to order it.
For those who want to wait a while, optional features are being planned for the Mini 10 later this year including 2GBRAM, internal GPS, Bluetooth, Ubuntu and Vista operating systems, WWAN, 250 GB hard drives or solid state drives.
