Nokia 1209 and Nokia 2600 Classic, the new finnish entry-level phones

Nokia starts the year of 2008 from the bottom. Today it has launched two entry-level mobile phones (Nokia 2600 Classic and Nokia 1209), specially conceived for kinder garden children and pensioned people. In the best case scenario, these terminals could be used as secondary devices, in emergency situations.
Nokia 1209. The flashlight returns, This phone not only fulfills the basic functions, but also makes light, when all around it is pitch black (with a few exceptions). Nokia 1209 brings, as a novelty, “the multiple agenda” - the place where your friends or relatives (maximum of five) will be able to save their personal contacts separably. In total, you’ll have at your disposal 2000 fields in addition to the possibility of verifying devious connections of your close ones.
For you, Nokia 1209 has a few applications, in stored, meant to make you a bit more responsible with expenditures (phone bill) or at least it offers a space in which you can glance on what you’ve been throwing your money away. You’ll find them under the name of “Pre-paid tracker” and “Cost tracking”. As per usual, a escapade in the mountains, no matter what season, usually ends with falls, kicks etc. So, it’s not at all advised to bring a “top-notch” mobile phone with you, however Nokia 1209 is very resistant to dust and a bit to shocks. In the end, even if it breaks, you’ll only use 35 Euro.
The second terminal showcased today is the Nokia 2600 Classic, as we mentioned before, a phone for scholars. The Xpress-on cases can be changed with ease and you can also choose from a multitude of colors - a whole “Skittles” flavor rainbow actually. As for everything else, mediocre functions, specific to entry-level phones: VGA camera (Nokia revives long dawn technologies), a “chicken” memory and, hold on to your chair, FM radio receiver. For all these you’ll have to empty your pocket of 65 Euro + eventual additional taxes.

Nokia 2600 Classic
Nokia 1209 will make it’s brave appearance this winter, while the Nokia 2600 Classic, a bit more shy, waits for the snow to melt and the flowers to bloom, for a spring release. Both will be available globally.
