A “small” software update for the iPhone and iPhone

Apple released a “minor” update for the iPhone / iPod Touch, the final version being 2.2.1 Release notes aside (the usual improved stability, fixed issues etc), here is the interesting bit: being a 0.0.1 version upgrade, one would think that it’s size will be very small but at a closer glance, wow, nearly 246.5 MB of data. That’s some minor update alright.

The new version downloads and installs without any problem and it seems to be stable. Better be safe than sorry and try it on your gadgets although the bigger package will make some doubt of it’s advantages.
