Dell will not give up 3Par

Dell is not willing to give up. It appears Dell really wants  to buy 3Par , anonymous sources said that an offer will be sent in the next few days. After Dell’s offer was outbid  by HP with it’s $1.6 billion , 3Par’s board of directors  said that the last bid was “reasonably likely” so they gave dell 3 days to come with new terms for the deal .

This competition between Dell and HP might be ended with HP’s victory , the last has larger possibilities to purchase 3Par, the company that makes  hardware and software that offers companies an easier and cheaper way to store content.

This acquisition is of high importance as Dell is already an investor in 3Par, with a 33 percent stake since Aug. 15 and both HP and Dell would gain extra strengths  in a challenge to Cisco Systems Inc.
