Canon has announced it’s latest model in the compact printers line: the SELPHY CP780. The model’s strengths will be faster printing speeds and better image quality. Thanks to it’s small size, it is ideal for printing quick photos for friends and relatives.

The SELPHY CP780 will be available in three colors: blue, silver and pink, just like the new PowerShot SD1200 IS Digital ELPH. This way everyone can express it’s personality not only by the photos printed (high quality and at a reasonable price to boot), but with the printer itself.
Thanks to the Portrait Image Optimize, the SELPHY CP780 will be able to print photos with more details and quality. Also, improvements were made to the Face Detection brightness correction and color cast correction, making skin look more realistic. Printing speed got an upgrade too, a 4 x 6-inch photo can be printed in approximately 47 seconds. The data can be accessed via USB or memory cards. Another feature of the SELPHY CP780 is the 2.5-inch LCD screen for easy navigation and printing.
The printer can be bought for $99.99. A battery pack can be optionally bought for $79.99, allowing the freedom to take it anywhere with you. Also, a Bluetooth adaptor is available for $49.99.
