Internet Explorer 8 Release Candidate

Internet Explorer 8 Release Candidate is available for download and testing. The release should behave as the final version, as the product is complete. From what we’ve seen, improvements have been made in terms of reliability, compatibility and performance. Security hasn’t been left out either, clickjacking protection being present.

We shall see if the new IE8 will stop the decline that started ever since Firefox appeared. IE8 is expected to be a step forward from the IE7 version, but we shouldn’t forget that the competition won’t be standing idle and just watch.
