Last week, we saw Sanyo unveil their latest to of the edge projector in Japan, the impressive PLC-WXU700 or LP-WX700, as it’s know in the country where the sun rises, however, U.S. users can now rejoice as the product will also be available here. If you’re a bit unfamiliar with it, know that the PLC-WXU700 is the first projector in the world to support 802.11n WiF, definitely handy for streaming, like conference calls, skype, youtube etc. Besides this revolutionary feature, expect standard WGXA resolution, along with a decent 3,800 lumens, a 500:1 contrast ratio, all the basic inputs, a USB port, and a LAN port if you happen to run out of wireless.

Price tag? A very disappointing $2,995 – definitely not very accessible. The PLC-WXU700 will be out next month.
