Rumors abounded regarding the planned replacement of the 8.9-inch Aspire One with a 10-inch version. Now, Acer confirmed the release, but didn’t give any information about the date or the price. The specs are as follows: 1.6Ghz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, SDHC card slot, 3 USB ports, a 160GB hard drive, 6-cell Li-ion battery and optional 3G. As you see, nothing fancy. It will weigh a little more than one kg (1.18 to be more exact).
The 10” screen will support a resolution of 1024×600 pixels, offering a broader vision for convenient navigation. The OS will come with Windows XP Home, Adobe Reader, a trial version of Microsoft Office and bundled with proprietary Acer software.
