Everex Cloudbook Unboxed

Well it’s unboxed alright; unboxed, fondled, analyzed, declared horrible. That’s the short story. If you were excited about this alternative to an Eee PC you may be a bit dissapointed. Laptopmag found a whole lot of bad things about it, as follows. The pointing device and the left and right mouse keys are above the keyboard, to the left and to the right. Also, the initial setup screen is a sloppy piece of work, because there’s no way to advance past a time zone screen except you know the crazy Linux commands. Everex kind of screwed up this time. But who knows, perhaps things aren’t so bad, and they will be better.
