Post filled in: Portable
I like to have a rugged notebook with me because I tend to be a bit on the careless side and sometimes wander in places where you normally wouldn’t take a notebook but the weight and the hefty price tag is disappointing at best. A solution to this problem would be a tablet PC. But where would you find a rugged tablet PC? Here’s the J3400 from Motion.
Feedback of various customers from different industries has led to the creation of the J3400. No matter where you work, be it construction, government, healthcare, it’s designed for you, with productivity in mind backed up by a Intel Core 2 Duo processor. For example, it has a hot-swappable, dual battery; a firm grip surface that won’t slip from your hand and an integrated shoulder strap. It’s so rugged that it can even whitstand a three-foot drop.
Let’s take a look at what the J3400 brings to the table:
- an 1.8-inch hard disk with shock protection and DataGuard and even an accelerometer for protecting it against falls
- shock-mounted display
If you’re seriously looking for protection, an optional 64GB SSD is also available.
For security it features GPS navigation and tracking, a biometric fingerprint reader.
If that’s rugged enough for you, get it from Motion resellers and distrbuitors near you.
