The X300 is great for road warriors

As you would expect in a review of such a laptop, there are la lot of comparissons with the Apple alternative, which in this case is the MacBook Air. There are some similarities but also a lot of differences between the two. The biggest differences are the selection of ports, built-in DVD or second battery, and a removable main battery afforded by the X300’s relatively thick case.
Also, the choice of OS is also an important choice because the X300 can’t run OS X while the MBA can run Vista; the bad thing is that the X300 is only offered with an SSD, thus being limited to maximum of 64GB of storage. Also, the price tag is very high, starting at $2,500 with a stripped-down, half-sized battery and no DVD. If you want those things, you have to get out of your pocket another $500. The Lenovo handily defeats the MBA at battery life, with 5 hours and 15 minutes of juice against 3 hours and 29 minutes. So you just have to know this: would you rather have form or function
