Asus Galaxy Mini – a rival for the HTC Touch

Asus took lessons from HTC and preps a rival for the HTC Touch. Code named Galaxy Mini, the upcoming device stands out thanks to its reduced proportions, Windows Mobile 6 or 6.1 operating system and incorporated GPS. The processor, with which it is equipped, will wear the Texas Instruments logo and will have a 200 MHz frequency.

Galaxy Mini is placed in the entry level segment, the display having a QVGA resolution, with the camera being equipped with a 2 MP sensor. The connectivity will be assured through WiFi, Bluetooth and GSM/GPRS/EDGE. From the photos, via Mobifrance.com, it can be observed that the phone to PC jack is of miniUSB type and the additional data storage is done on a microSD card.
