Nokia cutting down prices, going for the overkill

Mobile Phones

NokiaThe Finish mobile giant is doing quite good for itself, being a few good bars ahead of any sign of competition, from the likes of Sony Ericsson or Motorola. That’s why it comes as a surprise to me, and probably a heck load of other people too, that Nokia will cut down the prices on most of its models.

The biggest cuts are on the 5310/ 5610 music phones and the 8GB N81, but most other handsets have seen price decreases of up to 10 percent as well. What’s with this sudden marketing ploy? Well, most probably Nokia is trying to give the final blow to the competition sorta say, and after these recent price cutbacks I’d say they’ve got a lot of work ahead of them, if they want to catch back. Sony Ericsson isn’t quite doing well, btw.
