Google’s Android outranks RIM’s OS
Source: Reuters
Two and a half years has lasted RIM’s BlackBerry OS as the leading smartphone operating system, until the second quarter of this year Android from Google took the lead with 33% in front of Research in Motion’s OS which is installed on 28% of the smartphones, followed by Apple’s iOS available on iPhones with 22%.
The dethroned king RIM is trying to regain the crown, releasing BlackBerry 6 in his shiny armor the new BlackBerry 9800 Torch. Everybody is looking forward to see if the BB Torch will win in front of Motorla Droid and HTC’s Droid Incredible, Evo 4G or Hero, the responsible ones for Android rapid ascent.

At the same time as I really like a bodily keyboard, after managing the Samsung Captivate for about 15 minutes, it is hard to head back. Right now I’m debating whether or not to visit Verizon for the Droid X, pass to Sprint for the EVO, or stick with AT&T for the Captivate…selections, decisions.
