RIM buys Cellmania to improve BlackBerry App World
Being the leading smartphone maker in North American, doesn’t make RIM a top smartphone apps developer. To change this fact Research in Motion purchased on Tuesday the mobile infrastructure software company Cellmania. This acquisition is a step forward in BlackBerry’s App World as Cellmania develops the software that runs mobile application store for carriers like Orange or Sprint.
No details about the RIM’s acquisition were released but it looks like the boys from Cellmania are pretty excited to join RIM.
