Windows 7, not a dissapointment

It’s nothing very spectacular either, but unlike Vista, it doesn’t suck. Well, that’s a bit harsh, but I’d take XP over it any day, and I’m not the only one. Of course, you can’t say Vista has it’s strong points, but it was in fact a dissapointment.

But after giving Windows 7 Beta SSD a quick spin, it has to be said it tops its predecessor at pretty much every chapter. It’s not a sky-high improvement, just something that’s better; and I can’t say for sure at the moment, but I’d bet it’s more stable.

It works faster, requires less resources from the CPU, and it looks nice. It has to be said, for a beta, it’s doing absolutely great, and it’s the kind of approach Microsoft needs if it’s going to keep its position, closing in on the “Microsoft would like your money for this” status.
